Year 5 Bulletin: PE is a Wednesday - please ensure your child comes to school in their PE kit. Maths and English homework will be posted onto Seesaw. As a school we really value reading - please support your child with their reading at least three times a week.

Welcome to Year 5

Welcome from the Year 5 Team. My name is Mrs Brown and I share teaching Year 5 with Mr Fawdon. As an Upper Key Stage 2 team we are excited about the learning opportunities we have planned for your child. Between us we have many interests including art, cooking, gardening, walking and British Sign Language. We look forward to working alongside you as parents to use your interests too in sparking your children’s enquiry.

Things to Look forward to

It is lovely to see everyone back at school and enjoying the September sunshine.  This term, we will be learning about The Romans, Materials and Sikhism.  Hopefully, we may even be able to visit a Gurdwara(a Sikh temple) in Thornaby later in the term.....
