PE is on a Friday - please wear your kit!
As a school we really value reading-please support your child with their reading at least three times a week.

Welcome to Year 3

A warm welcome to Year 3. We are Mrs Foster and Mrs Addison and we share the teaching in Year 3. Mrs Foster teaches maths and English in the morning and Mrs Addison teaches the rest of the curriculum in the afternoon. Mrs Cattermole is our wonderful teaching assistant. We all love reading and sharing books with the children in our class.

Things to Look forward to

In Year 3 we love reading! Each child will be given a reading book.

Can you read at least 3 times each week? Remember to record what you have read in your reading record.

We love Times Tables Rockstars. Children can practice their times tables at home using this app. They can challenge each other as well as earning coins to spend in a virtual shop. This really helps children to develop confidence with their times tables which they are expected to know by the end of year 4.
