New School Hall

What are the benifits

  • Much bigger floor area (old hall = 90m2, new hall = 150m2)
  • Improved sports, drama and music facilities
  • New modern kitchen
  • Better storage

This allows

  • Existing hall to be converted 2 classrooms
  • Horsa Huts to be demolished
  • Space for a staff and visitor car park which reduces parking in surrounding streets

All of these items were identified as priorities for improvement by parents and children during consultation sessions.

What will the new Hall be used for?

  • PE
  • Drama
  • Music
  • Productions
  • Assembly
  • Dining
  • After School Activities
  • PTA events

It will also be used by

  • Preston children’s centre
  • Community groups

First steelwork being crained into place.

First set of pictures. Foundations have been laid, and the fixings for the metal work can be seen. We are wondering what the old wall was for.... can you shed any light?
